But when it comes to the Costa del Sol, you have a clear leader – a unifier of dreams, a role model and an instantly recognised face that is respected on the global stage.

After President Obama’s re-election this week, the world – and just over 50 per cent of America – rejoiced. For here was a man with the capability to build upon the euphoria of four years ago being offered the opportunity to do just that. Images of the week 8: All aboard... Snowboarding in the Sierra Nevada, Spain

As all you followers of our blog already know, last month 50 top riders took part in a day of breathtaking slope style expression sessions and amazing snowboarding displays at the Bond Sulayr Show 2012. The event was held to celebrate the opening of this season’s major attraction – the biggest halfpipe in Spain – at the Snowpark Sulayr in the Sierra Nevada.
But what you didn’t know – until now of course – is that VIVA’s own resident photographer, Jorge Morales, got up bright and early on Saturday, 28 January, to capture it all especially for you…
