Grimebusters’ other Professional Services on the Costa del Sol include…
Cleaning and sealing of terracotta flooring
If you properly clean and seal your terracotta floor tiles you will enjoy beautiful, hard-wearing, long-lasting, warm and stain-resistant flooring.
Sadly, it’s quite common once the floor has been laid to find that an inappropriate sealant has been used or simply your terracotta tiles are unsealable. If you have sealed the flooring with an inadequate product, or you have put a sealant on tiles which should remain natural, within six months your tiles are likely to be stained and difficult to clean.
Grimebusters are able to seal most newly-laid terracotta tiles and clean and restore previously laid and treated tiles, renewing them to their original, hard-wearing beauty.
Pressure cleaning of terraces, pool surrounds & other outdoor areas
Come springtime on the Costa del Sol, you want to be enjoying your outdoor space – patio, garden and pool. But during the winter months exterior areas can sometimes take a bashing.
Pressure cleaning patios, terraces and pool surrounds will ensure they stay pristine and looking new for longer.
Grimebusters offer a pressure cleaning service for exterior tiling, timber and stonework. Our tried and tested team of professionals are able to restore all types of exterior surfaces including:
Patios and terraces
Pool surrounds and pool houses
Fences and pergolas
Dry foam, in situ cleaning of fitted carpets and complimentary take-away rug cleaning service
Wall-to-wall fitted carpets and rugs make your home snug and cosy, especially in winter. But unlike hard surface flooring, they’re not quite as easy to keep clean. Having your carpets and rugs cleaned professionally ensures they stay fresh, clean and hygienic.
Grimebusters use a dry foam solution for in situ carpet, large rug and upholstery cleaning and provide a complimentary take-away and delivery service for off-site cleaning of smaller rugs. We use a low moisture cleaning system, which gently, yet effectively removes even the toughest stains, without stripping the colour.
We can remove all types of stains, including:
Red wine, coffee & tea
Ground-in exterior dirt
Pet stains and more…
Regularly cleaning your carpet or rug ensures that you also prolong its life, helping to maintain its colour and lift. Plus it will also reduce the number of allergens in your home, creating a healthier environment, especially for Allergy or Asthma sufferers.
We recommend carpets are cleaned every 12-18 months to ensure a healthy home.
In situ upholstery cleaning
Upholstery materials tend to be more delicate than rugs and carpets and therefore take a lot of skill to get clean, without harming the colour or fabric itself.
Dirt and particulates tend to form around head and arm rest zones, where you find hair grease marks and food stains, and the sofa skirting, where there may be heel and shoe scuffs.
Grimebusters use a gentle steam-heat extraction cleaning method, which can be applied to even the most delicate upholstery fabrics. It’s effective in removing most stains and revives even the tiredest-looking sofa. The steam-heat system removes any excess moisture – ensuring you don’t get left with a soggy sofa – along with dirt, grease and grime.
We recommend you professionally clean your upholstery every 12 months to maintain colour and presentation.
Curtain cleaning and rehanging service
As with carpets and upholstery, curtains are known for trapping airborne dust, odours, smoke and other particles, which can cause allergic reactions. Therefore it's vital to clean curtains and blinds regularly.
Grimebusters can restore your curtains to new with our expert curtain cleaning and rehanging service. Whether it’s a single pair of curtains, or a complicated system for large window spaces, our thorough cleaning service will breathe fresh air into curtains and pelmets and eliminate dust, dirt and odour.
And if the thought of taking your curtains down, transporting them to the cleaners and then rehanging them fills you with dread; never fear, Grimebusters offer a complimentary take-down and rehanging service.

Grimebusters' Top Tips
If you’re getting various quotes for marble floor polishing, restoration or grinding, make sure you follow this advice…
- Always make sure the service provider measures the marble floors in your property accurately – excluding non-marble areas such as the kitchen and terraces
- Will he mask the windows (to avoid possible acid damage)?
- Will he remove all the furniture and replace it carefully once the job has been completed, or merely polish around sofas and other large items?
- What products does he use, and does he use them correctly? At Grimebusters we use several different grades of wire wool depending on the application, as well as Caselli wax for marble floor polishing… and we don’t dilute it to make it go further!
- What type of polishing machine does he use? Grimebusters use only machines that have been specifically designed for marble polishing. Using a machine designed for lino or parquet will either damage the marble, or simply isn’t man enough to do the job!
- Before completing the work, will he hand-wax all the edges, right up to the skirting boards and doorframes, as Grimebusters always do?
- Choose only a professional marble floor polishing service that always delivers on what it promises… and the job is done right first time!
Once your marble floor has been polished or restored, to help it retain its new mirror-like sheen for as long as possible…
- Always mop up any spills as quickly as you can – red wine or Tonic Water can damage marble’s porous surface.
- To avoid damage caused by grit and sand, always place a mat in high traffic areas, such as by the front door, kitchen door and terrace access.
