What information do we collect?

If you are searching for a property online, we collect information from you when you register on our site or fill out a form. The information we collect includes your title, name, surname, nationality, email address and, if you choose to provide it, your telephone number. This data will be stored for a maximum of five years, at which point we will ask you to renew your consent so that your data can remain on our database. In order for us to evaluate the ways in which the website is being used, certain non-personal information related to your web browsing may also be collected while you are using the website. This information is stored anonymously and allows us to improve our website.

If you buy or sell a property with us, we will add more data to this information (economic and financial, other personal circumstances…), which you will be asked for in order to comply with Spanish Laws and Regulations and for us to fully provide the contracted service.

What do we do with the information we gather?

The information you provide us with is used to understand what your needs are and which services we can offer, as well as to personalise and streamline your use of the website and to improve your user experience.

We also use this information, in accordance with your mail preferences (the link to which you can find in the footer of every VIVA mail), to communicate with you about our products, services and promotional offers, and to keep your accounts up to date.

Who do we disclose your information to?

In the event of selling a property through VIVA, your contact information is disclosed to our currency exchange partner, Moneycorp, who use it to carry out their commercial operations. In the case of our 'Recommended Associates' area they are used, exclusively by the company you selected, to process your request and to contact you directly.

How do we protect your information?

At VIVA, we know that the ways in which we use and store your information is very important to you, and we appreciate your trust in us to do that responsibly and carefully.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure, and in order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and management procedures to safeguard and protect the information we collect online.
