Ace RafaLaunched just last week, Bacardi’s Champions Drink Responsibly campaign serves you up the chance not only to ‘Ace Rafa’ in their online virtual reality game, but also to meet him in Mallorca in 2012… and face him on court!

Unlike most console and online games, ‘Ace Rafa’ features a real version of Rafael Nadal rather than a computer-generated one and the game is brought to life with the 10-times Grand Slam singles champion receiving each serve as though he were playing an actual match with you…

Except that you of course will be using RoboServ 3000, the state-of-the-art 12-foot tall tennis-serving robot, as you take on the champion. And in case you’re wondering, the imagery in the game was shot on location in Rafa’s hometown of Manacor where he trains.

“I hope my fans enjoy this unique chance to play against me,” says Nadal in his role as Bacardi’s Global Social Responsibility Ambassador. “Drinking responsibly is a serious message and I believe we will reach and influence more people with this important message by expressing it in a more lighthearted and interactive way.

“I’ve faced some incredible serves on the tennis tour, but the RoboServ is a tough competitor and in the right hands it’s going to be difficult to beat.”

Go on, why not enter the competition and give it a try.

Rafa, meanwhile, is “looking forward to meeting some of the best Bacardi-created champions face-to-face next year”, and who knows, you could be one of them!
