Most viewed new developments on the Costa del Sol
Today I’m indulging in another recap of the year by bringing you the 5 most viewed new developments on the Costa del Sol in 2019. There’s a great mix of locations and deals to be had in there, so read on to find out which ones were the most popular.
As I mentioned in my last post, buying off-plan or in a brand-new residential community is back in vogue. There is visibly a lot of construction activity going on here on the Costa del Sol and new projects are completed and delivered on a near-monthly basis.
Optimal consumer confidence
Now that Spain’s economy has stabilised and is now enjoying a phase of significant growth, buyer confidence in the new development market has also increased. Would-be new home purchasers – especially foreigners, who would perhaps be warier of parting with their money for an investment abroad – see buying a property for first occupation as a viable, and in many cases preferable, alternative to acquiring a second-hand property.
