Sometimes all the planets and moons seem to be wonderfully aligned. This is one of those moments. Quabit Casares Golf – a stellar project offered exclusively by VIVA – already ticks all the key boxes for superb luxury living on the Costa del Sol. And now we have the pièce de résistance: building licences have been granted for ALL its units…
Quabit Casares Golf’s idyllic location is incomparable: surrounded by verdant golf course fairways, just 1.5 kilometres to one of the Coast’s most pristine beach settings, and part of the same municipality that gives its name to the iconic Casares mountain village.
The development’s cutting-edge design and development is highlighted by latest home trends, the finest standards and finishes, and a firm commitment to eco-friendly technology.
It is a convenient drive to the bright lights of Marbella, the classic charm of Estepona, the gently bobbing yachts of La Duquesa marina, the sedate sophistication of Sotogrande and the excellent connections of one of Europe’s major international airport hubs (Málaga, as well as Gibraltar to the west), plus the AVE high-speed national rail network.
Well-serviced with all the major amenities and infrastructural requirements of modern living, including easy highway and tollway access, Quabit Casares Golf is nevertheless secluded enough to ensure stress-free days and sublimely tranquil evenings.
It is also ideal for family life (with international schools close by), retirement (top-quality healthcare and diverse leisure pursuits all at hand) or young couples beginning new professional lives in Spain.
Equally important, it has the guarantee of being developed by Quabit Inmobiliaria, listed on the Spanish stock exchange since 2006 and experts in real estate development and land management for more than 20 years; and it was designed by leading Marbella-based architects González & Jacobson Arquitectura.
In short, Quabit Casares Golf is a delightful potpourri of cosmopolitan integration, local Spanish tradition… and natural harmony. And now the final box has been ticked. Building licences have been granted for ALL the remaining 58 apartments at Quabit Casares Golf, meaning construction – already well advanced – will be moving up another gear and these exceptional dream homes in the Spanish sun will promptly be key-ready for their fortunate new owners.
Highlighted by latest-generation sustainable energy technology, and subject to BREEAM certification (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Methodology), the two and three-bedroom apartments and penthouses feature spacious terraces, private gardens, elevator access and allocated parking; while the communal facilities include extensive green areas, a swimming pool and children’s pool, and a fully-equipped gym. And all this at eminently affordable prices…from only €239,000.

From Dramatic Mountain Landscape to Picturesque Golf and Beach Setting…
Spectacular, rural and impressively daring in its architectural makeup, the white-washed clifftop village of Casares has been a popular destination – and great photo opportunity – for tourists for decades. More recently, however, a lesser-known area of the sprawling municipality has also been attracting visitors’ and homebuyers’ attention.
Down on the coast, several exceptional residential estates are being developed, including Quabit Casares Golf, while the nearby Finca Cortesín was the venue for the World Match Play Golf Championship in 2009, 2011 and 2012 and is home to one of the Costa del Sol’s seven Michelin-star restaurants.
But to return to the mountains, as Ian Clover writes…
Approach from the coastal road and you travel through some of the most picturesque countryside found anywhere on the coast. Stop the car and take a wander through the hills: that sound you hear is one of silence, interspersed with birdsong or the occasional cricket.
Once you arrive in Casares, the town actually sits below you. A quick scan of the horizon from one of the telescopic lookout points confirms all you need to know: discovering this magnificent village is going to be an awesome experience. The steep and unevenly-paved streets whisk you to the village’s heart, taking you past plenty of front doors, many left open for cooling purposes, and allowing you an intriguing glimpse into what life is like here.
If you have the legs for it, the entire village can be seen in just a couple of hours. After your initial descent into the centre, which sits at the bottom of an impressively steep valley, the central fountain and its neighbouring cafés and restaurants will certainly be a captivating sight. Once suitably refreshed, you can choose to continue down, to the foot of the cliff on which the village sits, or head up to the peak, where wonderful views and a couple of superb restaurants await.
Just picture that: an affordable meal, accompanied by fine wine and loved ones, enjoyed atop a cliff overlooking the glistening Mediterranean and the distant yet tangibly close exotic romance of Morocco… and the dying ambers of a setting sun as it shoots towards the ocean calling time on another memorable day in southern Europe.
