VIVA opens a brand new office in Nerja

I’m delighted to announce the recent opening of our brand new VIVA Nerja office which – for the very first time – has given us the exciting opportunity of extending our real estate services to property buyers and vendors in the beautiful Axarquía region at the eastern end of the province of Málaga…

Under the management of VIVA Nerja Director, José Cánovas, the knowledgeable, experienced and friendly Nerja team also includes Sonia and Nikolaj, who between them speak English, Spanish, Russian, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, French, German and Dutch.

 

Very well known in the area by locals, holidaymakers and residents alike, José Cánovas was born in Nerja and has been in business in the popular seaside resort – where he also has his own independent company specialising in property rentals – for more than 15 years.

Some 50 kilometres east of Málaga city, Nerja is world-famous for its spectacular Caves, magnificent Balcón de Europa seafront promenade and stunning 16 kilometres of sandy beaches and coves. Not surprisingly the area is a favourite destination for Northern Europeans, especially Scandinavians.

Not only a prominent member of the local business community, José Cánovas also has an impressive talent for kayaking and canoeing. Already an accomplished national and European champion and member of the Spanish national sea kayak team, he won the Eurochallenge Surfski & Kayak challenge in Alicante in 2014, and just last month was not only named best individual sportsman over the last two years at the IX Gala del Deporte Local (IX Local Sports Gala) in Nerja, but was also proclaimed Canoe Class European Sea Kayaking Champion.
